If it is under warranty with Dell if you call them they will either send a Dell tech to fix it or ship out a replacement they may get you to try a few things first

. *thumbs up*I'm looking up the numbers right now, but i still a lil skeptical about gettin a replacement cause these guys here in my country are grumpy and dont let loose easily, it isn't as easy as it is in the States.

@ Annihilate, if you have any trouble with Dell, please let us know and we will do what we can to assist you, it is outrageous that you should be concerned that they would not honor their warranty. It sounds to me that you have been far more than resonable in attempting to fix a lemon for as long as you have. Regardless of the country, Dell has a warranty, and they should honor it. If they are difficult, we'll take it to their corporate offices. Looking forward to your reply, TTFN LGW

Sorry for the late reply. Yeah the guys at Dell wont budge, and to top it all the supervisor i spoke to was too rude and he's like "I don't give a damn" in a milder way, i mean is that the way to talk to a customer?
Adding to it further, he's like, "There's a problem I'll solve it my way. Not according to how its convenient for you." Forget getting a replacement, he even refused to send a technician to check it out. Can you believe that? I mean that was like the pinnacle. I was like dumstruck. Pathetic is an understatement. |

The staff at PCHF are volunteers and pick up support threads as life and work permit. Several staff are off enjoying the holiday with families, so support response times aren't quite up to the norm.
