1). I have automatic MS updates scheduled but does MS updates also update drivers when needed or this a separate process?
The reason I ask is that I was using installation software that is 2 years old that came with the ASUS motherboard components. I'd like to insure I have the drivers as updated as possible.
Nope. It does not update drivers. You will need to seek these out yourself. Did you purchase the computer from a major vendor like Dell or HP? If so, they have a driver downloads page where you can enter your service tag and download all the updated drivers for your system.

2). Is it possible to allocate or expand more size to my existing C drive Partition? When installing XP I partitioned it at 10000mb.
I had found this on the MS support website and am wondering if this is the process to do that?
How to use Disk Management to configure basic disks in Windows XP
Yes, you can. I personally have not done this but, it is possible.

This program for doing exactly what you were discussing comes highly recommended by the staff:
GParted - Freeware Partition Manager - Windows Forum - Computer Support Forums

And one more question: I installed "RegCure" on the computer...do you recommend this type of product? I am wondering if it is of any need or value. I run a scan, it finds errors, I run the "fix" and when completed run scan again and it finds still more errors? This is causing me to have some doubts on its value...
Personally, I use the free version of RegSupreme Pro for registry issues. I am not too keen on doing anything with the registry since it is so vital to you computer

Download RegSupreme Pro 1.9.0.540 Free Trial - Easy-to-use yet supremely effective registry tool, a complete system maintenance kit - Softpedia

I really appreciate all your help!
That's why I get paid the big bucks
kidding

Can I be of any more help? If not, we just need to remove some programs and you can be on your way

I think we are just about done...

In answer to your question above as to whether I bought the computer from a source like Dell or HP...no not this one. It was built for me...and in an earlier post today I listed the info for you. So running driver updates may prove difficult...how critical is this in the long term?

What programs do I need to remove?
