By all means, download them to your non-infected computer. Then, you can just copy them to CD's or a USB drive. Alternatively, you can just save them to the USB drive when prompted to download them.

Thanks! I think all is running good now. May I ask you a few other questions though? 1). I have automatic MS updates scheduled but does MS updates also update drivers when needed or this a separate process? The reason I ask is that I was using installation software that is 2 years old that came with the ASUS motherboard components. I'd like to insure I have the drivers as updated as possible. 2). Is it possible to allocate or expand more size to my existing C drive Partition? When installing XP I partitioned it at 10000mb. I had found this on the MS support website and am wondering if this is the process to do that? How to use Disk Management to configure basic disks in Windows XP I really appreciate all your help! |

And one more question: I installed "RegCure" on the computer...do you recommend this type of product? I am wondering if it is of any need or value. I run a scan, it finds errors, I run the "fix" and when completed run scan again and it finds still more errors? This is causing me to have some doubts on its value... |
