You can still use your disc....Just forget SDFix for the time being and carry on with Combofix.

Wow..the combofix is very long and has many steps. I printed out the instructions and there was 12 pages.

Is it really necc. to do? The hijack this log is not enough? I am extremly tired, annoyed, and frustrated at the moment. I have been trying to solve this issue for over 4 hours now. The prework alone took about 2 1/2 hours total...

What exactly is the windows recovery console? I have a sony computer, would the sony recovery disc be that? Anyhow-once again are you sure I need to run Combo Fix? I really don't feel safe or comfortable using it and do not want to make a mistake and mess up my computer.

Also is it bad to do anything, until this is resolved?

I would hold off playing group online games -- until this is resolved... just as a precaution

The Windows recovery Console is a part of Windows... it is for file-repair purposes... it is just not part of a "default" installation in most cases.

Combofix is needed,its that or you dont get rid of the virus you have...I will leave it up to you.
