In that case v3x, I hate to say this but your absolutely stuffed. If you can't access task manager in normal mode, and your unable to access safe mode, and you have no XP cd to attempt repair or access the recovery console, then there is nothing left. What happened to your Setup CD?

I have to backup Pancake here also, there is no way that combofix could have caused this problem.

Yes, I did get SDFix to run. After ComboFix rebooted my PC that problem occurred. Hopefully he doesn't charge much to fix it since I think that it's only a simple fix.

It looks now as if there may be a problem with ComboFix .I am waiting for a reply from sUBs the creator of it.Looks like a system restore will be the answer....

Sorru v3x, this is not my department. All i can do is back up Pancake in saying that combofix is unlikely to be the problem, as i have used it in the recent past with no problems. Also, i agree with ih8bills, it would be wise to invest in a windows XP CD.

I wish I could simply do a system restore but unfortunately, as I've stated before, I cannot get onto my desktop to do anything.

I went to my repair man and he gave me a burned copy of Windows and now I'm confused as to what to do. I assume I should go to the repair screen.

Edit: I guess that my PC was 1/100 that ComboFix messed up on as it said before I ran it.
