OK what I did was unplug the main HDD and switch it with the other one and now I'm installing Windows on it. The main HDD is unplugged completely. This should work, right?

Will I need to reinstall all of my drivers?

See your other thread -- I went to dinner... you should be able to rescue your current install....that is why I wanted the install disc.

You can just reboot and stop setup-- then you can reformat your spare drive later .

How am I supposed to transfer images, music, etc. from my second HDD w/o getting this one infected?

Did you intstall the recovery console as discribed in my Combofix link..?? If so we can use this to get you out of trouble...

Yeah I downloaded that then drug it into ComboFix on my desktop like the animation showed. My PC is running better than ever with nothing on it right now. All I want to do now is get some of my files off of the old HDD and onto this one without infecting it.

You should be able to tranfer the files.If you do get infected i can remove it another way so its no problem.I doubt if the infection will carry over.
