Your log looks clean, are you having any other issues?

Hi Steve

As I said my startup seems to be slower but then I could be imagining this and if the logs look clean then I guess everything is probably ok.

Interesting to see that in the end it wasn't in fact anything to do with gbtray anyway thanks for all your help with.

First time I have posted anything and the service was great - keep up the good work.

Thanks again for all your help.

David

There are a couple more things you can do to try to speed up the startup:

Run HijackThis and check the following:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HotKeysCmds] C:\WINDOWS\system32\hkcmd.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] \"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe\" -osboot

Also you could look at the programs that are running and see if there are any that you no longer need or do not need to run on startup. An example would be: do you need all the toolbars (Google, AOL, Yahoo, Crawler, Windows Live, del.icio.us, Canon's easy web print)

Thanks

I have done this and removed a couple of the toolbars.
