Ummm....nope. The restore points have gone anyways....

Click on Start > run > type msconfig and hit enter > go to the startup tab and un-check anything you do not recognize. Re-boot and test.

there's an awful lot of stuff i don't recognize.will i be able to get back there if i disable the wrong thing?

Post a screenshot here of the list if you're not sure. Someone will be able to tell you what is safe to remove.

tried to upload twice and keep getting upload error. i saved the screenshots to my desktop and did the same as my last screenshot that i posted. boy this must be frustating trying to help the handicap.
