The avenger did not work. I did as you said, but the DOS screen did not "flash". It caused an error after restart. file path not found and/or no disk. I restored back to after the cleanup from you and now restarts ok. Also, you told me not to have more than one security installed. So I think I removed all but MicroTrend and Super anti spyware. Should this be good for day to day? I understand I should implement an occasional second opionion.

Just check that the Netcom3 Cleaner can be uninstalled via add/remove.If not just delete the folder and then post a new HJT log.
