hi I am having trouble accessing my email hotmail account. When it asks for name, p/wd etc I fill it in and press continue. I then get taken to the email screen which is blank and in the bottom left hand corner it says done. This happens for my hubbys Orange email account too. I have managed to put my tiscali email onto outlook express but it wont let me do the Hotmail one. This has become very annoying as I have important email to read but cant access.please help!!!!

I have limited time on here this evening but here's 2 things to try:

1) Install this: Download Free Java Software - Sun Microsystems

2) Read this guide on how to add your Hotmail account to Outlook: Add a Hotmail account to Outlook XP

I have clicked on the links, typed in user name and p/wd and got blank screen!!!totally confused now which when coming to computers is easily done for me, now if it had been changing a cylinderhead gasket on ma Mini, well now ya talkin........

I don't know if this is related but there are now several websites which are not downloading properly. There is a done message at the bottom of the left hand site, but no web page displayed. I have turned off my Windows Firewall to see if this helps but still no. I do have McAfee installed but have turned that off too but still no web pages. I have windows Live OneCare installed but this is only a trial for 90 days. I am slowly losing my patience with it and soon the pc will be launched out of the window !!!! It seems to be hit and miss to what sites are displayed and even links seem to be disabled. Please Help!!!!!!!!!!! xxx

Hi have run logs as asked. Found more problems with ma pc. My search facility has gone from the start menu but the dog is still there. So might have to post logs seperately. sorry. It also wont let me post my logs onto this posting either!!! Countdown to destruction to my pc has begun!!!Please advise how I can get round this????

Are you seeing an error when you try to attach the files? It should be straight forward..click on Add a Reply and then go to "Manage Attachments"

Hi Thanks for your reply. Computer still in 1 piece Just!!!! Think it was cos I shouted and treatened it!!! Lol Nope sorry, Tried clicking on the attachments staple on the top of the reply and nothing happens.No error messages just nothing. It seems like the computer is sulking sumhow. Is there anyother way I can send the logs to you???? Thanks for your help xx

Are you using a pop-up blocker?
If so, disable it and try again

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I think the problems relatesto my JavaScrpit(???) beind disabled. Been on my internet banking and a warning message came up to say that this was so. Bearing in mind my search facility has "gone on holiday" and left me to babysit the dog, Could you please tell me where I can access this in my files and reactive it. Thanks for your help, xx
