I am not frustrated with you, I am just trying to figure out what is going on. Some people run tools when they shouldn't, some don't follow directions, etc. The information you had given me was vague and I was just trying to clarify it.

The contents of the VundoFix log are located C:\vundofix.txt

One way is to click "Go Advanced" button on the forum
Then click the paperclip icon
Browse to C:\VundoFix.txt
Click Upload
Click Post Reply

ANOTHER OPTION:

Click Start>Run
Type: cmd

In the new window that opens, type the following:

start notepad c:\vundofix.txt

That will open the Vundofix log using Notepad. You can copy/paste that information here

- There we go.

Click Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
Uninstall Java version 1.5.0.2

1. Download this file - combofix.exe to your Desktop.
Note:
It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop

2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
This can take a while, so please be patient.
If you see your Windows desktop disappear, do not worry. This is normal and ComboFix will restore your desktop before it is finished.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you, C:\ComboFix.txt. Post the ComboFix log and a fresh Hijackthis log in your next reply.
Do NOT post the ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt - unless I ask you to.
Do NOT run ComboFix more than once.
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall
Do not run Combofix more than once.
In case you see a sed.cfexe error with the option to send a report or not, choose "don't send".
The scan will temporarily disable your desktop, and if interrupted may leave your desktop disabled. If this occurs, please reboot to restore the desktop. Even when ComboFix appears to be doing nothing, look at your Drive light. If it is flashing, Combofix is still at work.

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
If it does, open Task Manager then Processes tab (press ctrl, alt and del at the same time) and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue.
If that happened we want to know, and also what process you had to end.

I have another question which is probably related to my whole computer problem, but I'm unable to turn on the windows xp firewall. I know where to turn it on but it allow me to click anything and right now it's set to off. The tab under "Exceptions" says 'Windows firewall is turned off. Your network administrator is using Group Policy to control these settings.' It's like the windows program are either deleted or unresponsive.

Please just follow the steps I have given. Many problems can be caused from infections. Let's get rid of all of your infections first, then any other issues that you still have can be addressed at that point.
