Hello there,

I am currently using Virgin broadband, and there have been issues with my internet download limit.

On average, I would use 40-80mB a day, that's with the internet connected for about 20 hours, however, recently there have been problems, whereby, I'd have my internet connection open for 4hrs, and my usage would tell me that I've downloaded 90mb within this time frame.

There have been ocassions, where i have my laptop connected, however, I am not using it, and my usage statistics page will notify me that I've downloaded over 540mb

I'm really concerned about this as I usually only have MSN open, but that can not be the sole cause of this problem....can it?

Can someone please help me find out what is eating away at my quota limit?

Thank-you for the response. Finally I'm back! Scanning took so much longer than expected! (3 hours for AVG and 2 hours for super *dies*)

Also, in CCleaner the same file was detected everytime i analysed; C:\WINDOWS\KB941568.log 3.22KB.

Is it possible that there is some unwanted source causing this? Because when I connect to the internet through another laptop, and disconnect it from my current one, my quota usage returns back to normal...
