Default Choppy Video and Audio On New Computer - Help Appreciated.

Hey guys. I recently purchased a new computer and everything was fine at first. But lately the video playback and games aspect has been very choppy and performs like it's struggling to run. The sound is also choppy. I have an updated antivirus and scanned, no threats or anything else detected. But i know that my system can handle the performance side of things, so it's not that. I updated all the drivers since, still no improvement. Maybe it's a driver conflict or something but i can't pinpoint it and wondered if anyone else knows of anything like this happening.

These are the system specs, i hope this helps.

Ok, thank you for the reply. The CPU usage is still minimal when running mediaplayer classic. ''CPU 00 - 01'' ''Mem usage - 20,004k'' Thank you again.

Also, the readout for the bottom of the task manager is CPU usage 07 - 18% - Processes 41 - Commit charge 425m/ 4375m
