Default Need help to clean my computer
I have got a problem after I downloaded the last version of Quick Time player on 13-12-07.
I turned my computer off just after the instalation and turned it on again after a few hours.
When I tried to stablish a wireless conection to internet a pop up appeared with this message: "TFncKy hat ein Problem festgestellt und muss beendet werden."
And at the end of this window there are 2 buttons, one to send this problem and another not to send.
I saw that when I press any key this pop up also appears.
I tried many things to clean. The first was to use AntiVir personal edition classic and I found a virus:
"Die Datei 'C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Rodrigo Valle\Lokale Einstellungen\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\WNEZA921\trace[1].htm'
enthielt einen Virus oder unerwünschtes Programm 'HEUR/Exploit.HTML' [heuristic].
Durchgeführte Aktion(en):
Die Datei wurde ins Quarantäneverzeichnis unter dem Namen "47c26653.qua" verschoben!"
I have cleaned this virus with AntiVir but the problem was still there.
I have downloaded and run the SpywareTerminator and could fix some files (see attached reports). The pop up was still there, so I have tried HijackThis and got it analyzed on HijackThis website and also could fix some files, the pop up was gone, but came back as soon as I started my computer again later.
I have reports from all scans I have made, but it is only possible to attach 5 files.

Please, could you help me to clean my computer?

hello guaribas, and welcome to the forum.

You are running an older version of hjt, so we'll get that updated, but first, I want to run combofix, so we can see what it fixes in the new hjt post.

1. Download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.
  • Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log and a HiJackthis log in your next reply
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while its running. That may cause it to stall

2. CLICK HERE to download the HijackThis Installer:
  1. Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
  2. Double-click on HJTInstall.exe to run the program.
  3. By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.
  4. Accept the license agreement by clicking the "I Accept" button.
  5. Click on the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
  6. Click "Save log" to save the log file and then the log will open in Notepad.
  7. Click on "Edit -> Select All" then click on "Edit -> Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
  8. Come back here to this thread and paste the log in your next reply, along with the smitfraudfix log.
  9. Do NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet! Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.


You may delete the older version once you have successfully downloaded and installed the latest version of HijackThis v2.0.2.

Thanks for your help.
Here is the HijackThis log from the new version and attached is the folder created on Desktop after the running of Combofix. Is this the log? At the end of the Combofix running there was a message of an error asking to send it to Microsoft. I was not connected to internet and clicked on not send to close the window.

It seems that the attachment did not go or was not attached. It is a zip folder called catchme and the size is 2.2MB. There was nothing more.
What should I do?
