how can i get rid off a virus??

today my firewall stopped 1852 intrusions attempts so i dnt know what really caused it
i went of line for a while, then when i came back i did n online scanning with bitdefender

it found a virus but couldnt delete it, n i try to delete it n i cant either, i can get acces
is in the recycle bin. can some one plse help me, n if some one knows why i was attacked so
often in around 1 hour n a half

Download Download SDFix from here and save it to your desktop.

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
Restart your computer
After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
Choose your usual account.
In Safe Mode, right click the SDFix.zip folder and choose Extract All,
Open the extracted folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
Type Y to begin the script.
It will remove the Trojan Services then make some repairs to the registry and prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
Your system will take longer that normal to restart as the fixtool will be running and removing files.
When the desktop loads the Fixtool will complete the removal and display Finished, then press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
(Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum).
Finally paste the contents of the Report.txt back on the forum.

Save ComboFix to the desktop.
1. Double click on combo.exe & follow the prompts.
2. When finished, it will produce a logfile located at C:\ComboFix.txt.
3. Copy and Paste the contents of that log in your next reply with a new hijackthis log. Do not use Code or html unless asked for.
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause your system to stall/hang.

Caution...Never run and remove files using ComboFix without being supervised by a security analyst.

thx for ur help but it doesnt seem to work, i tried sdfix, but it just doesnt start when i go to safe mode, does it work in vista ? i also tried combo fix, was working fine went through a lot of stages , but then after the stages it said deleting files n folders or something like that i dnt really remember, n it didnt do anything else, didnt finish nothing, i left it half hour but it seemed to have stopped, then i really stopped it n vista asked me if i wanted to run it again with the recommended settings n said that it seemed not to b installed properly so i did it again but the same thing n well the program says that in should run take aprox 10 mins . i checked where the report was n it said almost nothing i guess cuz the program didnt do what it had to

i wonder if this 2 programs run in vista... or if something is wrong with my laptop that doesnt let them work as they should
