Hmm...boot to Safe Mode and run HijackThis again.

Place a tick beside the following entries:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {64928F7C-7AA1-4DDC-8B9C-82B05A4897B5} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {D42A52FB-BC59-436A-844B-6AE21E1AEEA6} - (no file)

Close all other windows except HijackThis and press "Fix Checked". Then close HijackThis and restart the PC.

You should get back to normal mode now. Run HijackThis again, and did those entries reappear?

Hi atlsud,

Could you please make sure that all future scan logs are uploaded in the form of an attachment, rather than posting it here? This just helps to keep things nice and tidy and would be much better for us. Thanks a lot

Pgh

Chiaz,

I removed those entries as you suggested.

Upon reboot, BHODemon identified those two entries. I clicked the entries to learn that they were orphaned registry entries and had BHODemon remove them. I rebooted and ran HJT , the scan were free of the two entries.

Thanks,
T

Chiaz,

Everything seems to be running fine except IE does not load. I do not see the IE in the Applications tab of Task Manager.

Upon shutdown the End Program dialog box is attempting to end IE. It reports that IE is not responding requiring me to click the End Now button.

Any ideas?

Hello, sorry for the late reply.

Go to Start > Run and type in cmd.
In the command prompt window that pops up, type in sfc /checkall.

Let it run. Are there any problems detected in the end?

Chiaz,

I have been away myself. Happy New Year!

I ran the sfc /checkall and the cmd prompt gave me additional selections so I ran the sfc /scannow

No problem detected and still no IE.
