You do have a few things that want fixing......



Download the program HostsXpert
When it opens, click on the Restore Original Hosts button and then exit Hoster.

Please download the OTMoveIt by OldTimer
Save it to your desktop.
Please double-click OTMoveIt.exe to run it
Copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy):


C:\heap41a\svchost.exe
C:\heap41a\std.txt


Return to OTMoveIt, right click on the "Paste List of Files/Folders to be moved" window and choose Paste.
Click the red Moveit! button.
Close OTMoveIt
If a file or folder cannot be moved immediately you may be asked to reboot the machine to finish the move process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.

Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixreg.reg to your desktop.
Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files"
Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.

I did the first step of running HostXpert and restoring the original host files

I did paste the file paths on the OTMoveit window. but it showed an error:

Cannot create file C:\_OTMoveit\Movedfiles\12082007_091458.log

and on the right side results window it shows file svchost cannot be found.

I dint venture onto the next step of fixreg

The file svchost.exe exists in the C:\windows\systems32 directory. should i use this extension?

And i am not able to attach the log as i am not granted permission
