Hello, my new laptop has become very slow and the cpu meter regularly maxes out at 100% when running just about any application.It also takes a very long time to start up after rebooting. This has only started happening recently and I'm just wondering if you can help, thanks in advance.

You may want to print these out. please close all other applications, start hjt again, click 'perform system scan only', place a tick next to the following and click 'fix checked'

reboot, and post a new log.

may also want to run a small application that removes all the excess cludge from your machine, as below:

Did this machine come with vista installed, I assume?

The log's clean, did you run ATF with vista, and if so, how much did it clean up? Also, check the defrag status of the disk, and see if you need to defrag it.

How's the machine running currently?
