So far I have posted in about 7 different forums for the last few weeks and no one has been able to help me nor give me a solution to fix the problem.

Two days ago I did a PC Revory restoreing my PC to its original factory settings and state. The recovery that deletes everything on your hard drive and puts it to original factory status. It always works but it deletes all of my files and settings. I use the program NoAdware and my windows updates & firewall are the standard WinXp programs are turned On always.

I do leave my laptop PC always online cause I have cable internet service and the PC itself is always on. It always goes like this...everything works fine and very fast for sometimes a month, sometimes a few months, and then I wake up one day and the PC is running EXTREMELY slow, and it takes like 10 minutes to start up. Normally it takes less then a minute as I have a very fast up to date PC.

Im pretty advanced when it comes to knowledge. As I know basic processes and things to do such as I run Msconfig and turn off all startup programs and background services that I dont need. So im never running anything in the background programs nor services beside the essential microsoft programs & services.

I dont want to factory restore again, this time I want to fix the issue, so im not restoreing every month or so.

NoAdware picks up nothing, AVG virus scan nothing, AntiVir virus scan nothing, and I defragmented before, and its not excess programs running. I restarted a few times as well. So now I resorted to using this HijackThis program and following the directions.
It says to post the log info. on one of these forums and someone very advanced will be able to fix and solve my PC troubles.

HP Pavilion DV8000
2Ghz AMD Turion 64
Windows XP
2GB RAM

Not that they would make a difference but you get the idea that it never should take 10 minutes to start a PC with these basic specs without something being very wrong.
