Ok here is my situation. All of a sudden yesterday when I would boot up my comp 2 things would happen. It would either ONLY show the wallpaper or desktop would load then if I clicked anything or tried to use anything from start -> etc it would kill explorer.exe and it would restart. Now I have a feeling it is a virus so I ran Mcafee and deleted whatever it found ran a few spyware programs and I still have the same issue. Right now explorer.exe is using 60% system resources according to taskmanager. The same thing happens if I boot up in safemode as well. I cannot use anything. Ironically it actually stopped for a bit long enough for me to get online and try to find out some info. Another problem is when I try to uncheck things from my startup menu after I click apply I get a message saying access was denied I have to log into the admin account to do this. I tried on the admin in safemode and got the same results. Here is a copy of my HiJack This Log. Any help is greatly appreciated.
