First of all, thanks for taking the time to review my files.
Secondly, I didn't even think to try removing the Comcast software. Unfortunately, after removing the software and restarting the problem is still there.
I've read that the problem was due to a program conflicting with IE thus causing it to hang, but as I said, I've tried ending processes but the problem never goes away. However, now that I think of it, I didn't experience the problem when I started in safemode. Any other suggestions?
