HijackThis log looks clean to me.

Run a final scan with AVG Anti-Spyware, and post the new log in your next reply. I'll await good news!

I have done the AVG scan - but yet again it did not give me a report. It found 12 Tracking cookies - can i just go onto the internet options bit on my browser and use the clear cookies function to get rid of these???

Can you shed any light also on the problem that my computer reboots it's self after shutting down - i.e. goes through the process but reboots straight up. i have had this problem for over a year now and it is annoying...

Thankyou for all of your previous help!! :-)

I will be reccomending your site to all of my friends - quality support. CHEERS!!!

There are many reasons that XP will do this-- the most famous is having Roxio's EZCD creator installed-- but there are many others.

Yes. If you have other browsers (Opera, FireFox, etc), simply do the equivalent.
