Hello, and welcome to PCHF.

Your HijackThis log looks clean to me, except these. Place a checkmark beside these entries unless you had set them yourself:
O24 - Desktop Component 0: (no name) - C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\profsy.html
O24 - Desktop Component 1: Warning homepage - C:\WINDOWS2\warnhp.html

If you did place a tick beside them, close all other windows except HijackThis and press "Fix Checked". Then close HijackThis.

Are you having any problems specifically with your computer?

Download "SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition" from this link:
SUPERAntiSpyware.com - Downloads
  • Install SUPERAntiSpyware
  • Double-click the icon on the Desktop to launch SUPERAntiSpyware.
  • You will be on the Main Menu.
  • Click "Check for Updates".
  • Wait for the update to complete.
Start the scanner, click "Scan your computer", mark the drives that you want to scan (in the left window). Select "Perform Complete Scan" (in the right window). Click "next".

The scanner will now start to scan. As soon as it has finished, you should mark everything that is found, and let the scanner fix it.

Restart your computer. After reboot, open the scanner again. Click "preferences"-> "stastics/logs". Mark the log. Click "View log", and save the contents of this report to somewhere convenient. Post it in your next reply, along with a new HijackThis log.

Default Re: help dont know what to fix

Looks like Smitfraud is changing into something very different...

Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri)
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.

Open the SmitfraudFix folder and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
