Default Comp Xp Etremely Slow

The problem started when I was trying to download.

I know there is a restore somewhere in this crazy machine. When I find it, should I restore to 4 days ago, or whenever this thread originated? Let me know.

Thanks a gain and again and again,

Revert it back to 4 days ago, or when this font issue does not appear.

Default Comp Xp Extremely Slow

Hi Chiaz: Can you tell me how to restore? I can’t find it. It’s so difficult moving around in this computer because I have to cut & paste almost everything. It makes for a very long and frustrating day.

Additionally, regarding the shut down with keys only, I’ve already tried that. It can’t be done because when I hit start the menu is all smooshed together. I can’t see the icon for shutting down.

Thanks again.

Hmm....this's pretty challenging.

Do you have a Windows CD that you can use to reinstall Windows?

Default Comp Sp Extremely Slow

Unfortunately, I don’t have a Windows disk. My computer already had it installed. My warranty expired 2 years ago!

What should I do?

How do I restore?

Default Comp X-p Extremely Slow

I found the instructions for Restore. I can’t do this because it requires using the start key (see below). I need a different way to get into All Programs, etc.

(This is how MS shows Restoring – Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools)

Thanks for your response and all your help.
