You're looking better. Keep in mind though that I don't have Valis' trained eye with HJT logs yet.

Just a little tidbit on the Windows XP "DOS" prompt. Although it looks like DOS and shares some commands, it is very different. Generally if you can't delete something in Windows, you won't be able to do it in the command promp because Windows is still running. This can be a big adjustment if you are used to using Windows 98 or ME since you could boot into DOS Mode which was in fact a true DOS prompt, without windows running.

Close all windows (including all internet connections, so you may want to copy this into notepad, as you can keep that open while the fix is running), open hjt, click 'perform system scan only', place a tick next to the following, and click 'fix checked'.

Reboot into safe mode. If you don't know how, visit http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm. Right click start > explore > navigate to and delete the following files/folders:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\hldrrr.exe < only that file

Reboot once again, and post a new hjt log.

I have followed the instructions to a tee...just one tiny detail...In safe mode, couldn't find the file that you wanted me to delete. Is it hidden somewhere else??
