Default [Resolved] I need help bad...
I have something wrong with this computer. I am pretty sure it's a virus, and I have followed the instructions for the pre-post thing, although I forgot to save a scan log of the AVG scan. Close all other windows except HijackThis and press "Fix Checked". Then close HijackThis and restart the computer.


I notice that you have SpyHunter on your computer. SpyHunter is a 'spy hunter' of somewhat dubious repute. It was previously classified as a rogue security application primarily because of the company's history of employing aggressive, deceptive advertising. The company was also known for exploiting the name "spybot" in its domain names and online advertising. These objectionable business practices were employed primarily from late-2002 to mid-2004. Sometime during summer of 2004 the company halted the most obnoxious and objectionable aspects of its online advertising. It also unloaded all the "spybot" domains. While there are still unresolved allegations that SpyHunter transmits the Windows Product ID from users' PCs, it can no longer be classified as a rogue security application. Nonetheless, SpyHunter -- at least in its current state -- cannot be recommended because of its mediocre performance as an anti-spyware scanner. Testing indicates that it does not recognize some well-known spyware installations and has difficulty removing critical spyware/adware files even from those it does recognize. There are many excellent competing anti-spyware applications that are available (some for free). SuperAntiSpyware and AVG Anti-Spyware are two of such good examples.

I highly recommend that you remove SpyHunter via Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.




I cannot see much else from your HijackThis log. I will require either/both the AVG Anti-Spyware/SUPERAntiSpyware log in order to proceed.

Thanks a lot. I did what you said, and I think It's runnin' a lot better now. I did both of those other scans again, and it said it didn't find anything, but a few suspicious cookies. Here's my updated Hijackthis log, if you could see if theres anything else that needs to be deleted, that would be apreciated. Thanks again man.
