Hello, I formatted, started installing windows with that Nlite (Even after SP2 HD size was wrong) and my computer shut down again! Once again it was a 2 day gap. I rang up my local computer shop because I still have warranty and they said to bring it in and they'll test it. They said it was not overheating (Rubbish!) but the size was wrong. In the end they said they've ordered another HD for me and it'll be next week when I get it.
So a week without my computer Ha.
Hopefully this will fix the shutting down problem.

My only question now is, was there any unpartitioned space detected? The partition would still be 127GB. Anyway I hope for the best.

Ok that is most curious, friend.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to do some searching around on this. I'll post back as soon as I have something found.

I'm looking at a busy time the next few weeks so I'm only going to be on once in a while. Please be patient with me, I'm not ignoring you nor have I forgotten.

Thanks

It is no problem
Well I contacted the shop and they said they rang Seagate who said they're going to try and get a new HD delivered by Friday. I think it'll be next week though, i'm bored! :P

HD was avaliable to pick up yesterday (Yay I thought), collected it, plugged it in etc and booted up with system disk in.
It recognised it, saw it as the 400gb and I began to install windows. Then BAM it shut down! I booted back up but it kept shutting down at the beginning of the windows part.
Then guess what I saw, the 136gb instead of 400gb error again!!! :|
I decided to try it in my dads, still saw it as 136gb but installled xp without turning off.
With SP2 on it still said 136gb
So I have no idea about the size problem but for the shutting down i'm thinking power supply. Maybe the mobo has something to do with the size (My dad also has an Nforce 4).
I'm thinking of just taking my comp into the shop tonight, asking them to test it and see if they can think of anything.
It's really annoying me now!
