I beleive that i have some kind of email worm. Whenever I send an email from outlook an email is sent out to another (random) address and then bounces back to me. However the problem seems to have "vanished" today. Not sure what fixed it but it's gone... Thanks for your help. Do you have any recomendations as to what is a good virus/spyware program for me to prevent problems in the future.

I use AVG anti virus and anti spyware, and have been very pleased with both......glad that it's fixed, I will mark this post as fixed. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask.

What you described sounds exactly what W32/badtrans.a@mm does, and it was most likely blown out by AVG during the prework part.
