Hey,
I'm new to this forum so I'd start off by saying hello, I'm Danny.
Recently, since three days ago, my laptop has been very slow. Slow, infact, that it's hard to even type this.
I've nailed the problem location - but here is how I got there:
* I downloaded 'memturbo4' for a trial and it shows my RAM in the bottom right hand side of my screen...
* On the CTRL, ALT and DEL screen, I went to processes and here is where I found the problem...
'SPBBCvc.exe' as username 'SYSTEM' is running, well currently, at 458,612K and grows by about 200K per second,so by the time you read this it would well be past 460,000K.
This isn't the only thing. NAVW32.exe's CPU is around 90. I hear its worrying even at 30. That can't be good.
And then there is SYSTEM IDLE PROCESS which appears randomly and uses bout 40.
Anyone know what this is and how to get rid? My friend had a peek and said 'Its from the System 32' which is a dangerous file to explore.'
Help
Danny

*EDIT*
On a quick note, here are the things I have done.
1 - Done a full scan on the file C:/windows
2 - Restarted my computer
3 - Got over half of my C: disk space free
4 - Run a full system scan
5 - Tried to click 'end process on the task manager *crtlaltdel* on the files - came up with I cant.
6 - Same with end process tree
7 - Left it. The longer I leave it,the higher the Knumber.
