[Fixed] Hijackthis! Logs - [Resolved] My RAM keeps falling rapidly within hours... posted in the Security & Safety forums; Are they attached now? I just think I didnt click the upload thingamabob!...

Hello blueseagull. Please run HijackThis and place a checkmark by the following entries:
O2 - BHO: TVEngine Helper - {4B18DD50-C996-44fc-AC52-0FECFF82ED58} - c:\program files\hbtools\hbtv\hbtvhelper.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)

Close all other windows except HijackThis and press "Fix Checked". Then close HijackThis and restart the computer.

Then run Panda ActiveScan.
  • Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
  • A new window will open...click the Check Now button
  • Enter your Country
  • Enter your State/Province
  • Enter your e-mail address and click send
  • Select either Home User or Company
  • Click the big Scan Now button
  • If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
  • It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
  • When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan
  • When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location. Attach the ActiveScan report in your next reply.

Dun dun dunnn!
After a few days Norton started a random virus scan so I just left it to it.
After a while it found a virus!
Not too sure of what it was called as it was a while back but it was trogan.ski..something?
So all back to normal on my laptop guys! Apart from movie maker.... but thats a different story!

But if you are really convinced that everything is back to normal, we can close this. Your choice, your call.
