[Fixed] Hijackthis! Logs - [Closed] Rundll32.exe posted in the Security & Safety forums; I was wondering how i can find out if the rundll32 process that constantly runs under my username is a virus or not. Nothing registers in the several nod32 scans ...

Default [Closed] Rundll32.exe
I was wondering how i can find out if the rundll32 process that constantly runs under my username is a virus or not. Nothing registers in the several nod32 scans that i ran i just wanted to see if there was a manual way. The process itself uses about 3,500 k constantly with no cpu load and when i close it, goes away, however it starts back up again in 5 or so minutes. Any advice?

Hey there ,


if you could follow the Prework located in my signiture, and post the Avg and Hijackthis log


the Secruity team will be able to help you if they find any virsus etc in them .

Yes both scans are done all that avg found was some tracking cookies. if you would like to see the logs let me know. i am now posting the new log from hijack this after the full avg scan:

Run HijackThis again. Press "Open the Misc Tools section". Under the "Misc Tools" tab, click "Open Process Manager". Wondering about the rundll32 process? Double-click on it to summon up its properties. Copy and paste its properties in your next reply.
