I am having problems with msn explorer shutting down, it seems to happen when I'm on a secure site and as soon as i type any data on that site i get a message saying msn is experience problems and needs to shut down, if i ignore it i cant type anything else on that site so i have to click on ok, on the shut down message and then msn explorer shuts down. Does anyone know of this problem and how i can fix it.

This sorted of sounds like a malware problem to me.
Can you please follow the prework link in my signiture and post the resulting logs? One of the security team will take a look at it for you

Ill move this to the Hijackthis section so the security team can look at it for you. It would be a good idea if you send the AVG, or Spysweeper log anyway, even though you didnt see anything out of the ordinary, the security team might.

I have done a spybot serch and it is clear so there is no log to post, Can you solve the problem with my HiJackThis log?
