Ok...As Wolfey recommended this, I d/l'd it and guess what? It found two bugs on my system... one that originated here. Correction...shows that it did... but looking more at it, it did NOT orignate from PCHF...tracking it now as I type this/. Don't ask me how or why, but I KNOW this is a safe site. The folks here only want to help and they have done so on NUMEROUS occasions! One other thing to look at, and you all can take it or leave it as you will... McAfee Threat Center It looks for a lot of things that many scanners do not. And there are versions that can look for something in particular.

zipcodec-v6.392.exe. This is the one that Avast found... 2 of them on my system.. McAfee did not... neither did the firewall that I have in place./

Wolfey, LGW,Charlie? Any ideas? Staying in here to hear what might be said.

Ok... have the Hijack logs already.... mayhap need to re-run it after I get rid of all the temps files?
