Hey Vanna,

Regarding Backweb, right-click on My Computer, choose Explore. Click on Tools, Folder Options, and make sure that there is a tic next to Display contents of System Folders. Then navigate to the C:\Program Files\KODAK\KODAK Software Updater\7288971\Program\backWeb-7288971.exe

If it still isn't there, you don't have to worry about it, it just sends information about your usage to Kodak. Spyware, but not infectiious.

To fix the items listed in HJT, make sure that all other windows are closed, run HJT, place a tic next to the boxes of the items listed, if they are still there, and then click on Fix.

Looking forward to your reply,

Hey Vanna,

Yea, it's trying to protect itself, you will need to take ownership of the file. Boot into Safe Mode, then navigate to the file. Right-click on it and choose Properties. Click on the Security tab, and then Advanced. Give yourself full ownership of the file, and it should then be able to be deleted.

Looking forward to your reply,
