Hey Hemoglowin,

Remember the article that I told you to read before you started all of this, PCHF Protect Your PC, from my signature? It has the answers to all of the questions you just posted.

If you got the SpySweeper version with AntiVirus, then you do not need another AV program. You should only run one at a time. If however, you got the standard version of SpySweeper, you will need to get a seperate AV program. Something like Avast.

You should have one of each Anti-virus, Anti-spyware, and Firewall, running at all times. You can have more than one spyware scanner running at the same time, but not more than one virus scanner or firewall.

For example, I use Avast as my AV, ZoneAlarm as my firewall, and SpySweeper, Spybot S&D's Tea Timer, and Spyware Blaster to cover spyware.

Hopefully that answers your question.
