Default [Closed] BSOD, please help, urgent!!

Hi,

I'm getting the dreaded blue screen and i really need help. Please excuse my ignorance but i've read the threads on how to post the .DMP files but the file i have is absoloutely huge and i cant attach it (it's 1,046,096 kb).

I think my laptops on the verge of death and need advice really badly.

Could someone give me instructions on what to do next as i don't have a clue, please excuse my ignorance.

uhh yea well i'm not completely sure what the techs would do but id say just post what it says on the bsod and they could do the rest? then again, what do i know, i just say, welcome. (: haheha hope you get it fixed soon (:

One fairly simple way to do it is to upload the file to Image Shack or one of the other file hosting service`s , and post the link to it here;

Thanks for the reply.

I've tried uploading the file to image shack, but it won't allow me, saying its an unsupported file type.

I can't even open the file myself by the way.

"Windows cannot open this file:

File: MEMORY.DMP

To open this file,Windows needs to know what program created it, etc "

Hello neat
Sorry, i didnt realise image shack didnt support data files, and i looked at some of the other hosting services, the free ones have a size restriction . When you get the message that windows connot open this file, select from the list and try to open it with notepad, that should open it. If it opens, copy and paste it in sections of a size that will work.
