Hey NNN,

Boy, you have a slew of infections there. . Your AVG log is still showing that all of the items found were ignored. I just want to double check that you followed these instructions correctly:
IMPORTANT! Do not save the report before you have clicked the Apply all actions button. If you do, the log that is created will indicate "No action taken", making it more difficult to interpret the report. So be sure you save it only AFTER clicking the "Apply all actions" button.
Also, what order did you do the scans in? At this point, I need to know to determine what is not being fixed by these scans.

Looking forward to your reply

Hello.

You have done the AVG cleaning quite correctly. Now please download the attachment below. Run HijackThis and place a checkmark by those entries. Then close all other windows except HijackThis and press "Fix Checked". Then close HijackThis and restart the computer.

I also see a Rustock infection in your log. I don't know how good SpySweeper is at removing it,since it's quite a persistent one. Download Rustbfix from one of these locations:
http://www.uploads.ejvindh.net/rustbfix.exe
http://uploads.ejvindh.andymanchesta.com/Rustbfix.exe
...and save it to your desktop.

Double click on rustbfix.exe to run the tool. If a Rustock.b-infection is found, you will shortly hereafter be asked to reboot the computer. The reboot will probably take quite a while, and perhaps 2 reboots will be needed. But this will happen automatically. After the reboot 2 logfiles will open (%root%\avenger.txt & %root%\rustbfix\pelog.txt). Post the content of these logfiles along with a new HijackThis log.

Hi and thanks for the help.

I've ran Rustock.b-fix but get the message 'No Rustock.b-rootkits found' as shown in the attachment.

Hey NNN,

Everything looks pretty good, but correct me if I'm wrong, didn't you uninstall that MPPoker.exe and Ladbrokes Poker? Is it something that you play regularly? Because, it's baaaack.

If you did uninstall it, and it isn't something that you play regularly, we need to address it.

Looking forward to your reply,

Hey NNN,

I was concerned that it had put itself back, which would have indicated further infection. If it is something you installed, it should be fine, just be aware that it is known adware, and that you should do everything else possible to protect yourself from reinfection.

Glad to hear that the dreaded BSOD is gone. We'll mark this one as Fixed. Please let us know if you encounter any other issues. Look forward to seeing you in the forums, and please make sure to recommend us to your friends and family.
