OK NNN,

There are few nasties in there, let's see if we can't get them to go away.

First of all do you recognize these IP addys, they could be part of an old dial up or some other IP set up for your PC.
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{3E21F1F0-C331-425B-A73F-D3A5519B0CC7}: NameServer = 212.158.248.5,212.158.248.6

Please rerun AVG, and let it fix everything that it finds this time. Save the log to post back here.

Run Add/Remove Programs and remove Ladbrooks MPP or MPP Poker
Locate and delete C:\Program Files\ladbrokesMPP\MPPoker.exe

Then rerun HJT and have it fix the following entriesif they are still there:
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page =
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = \blank.htm

Hi, ready to work at this!

Dont mean to sound stupid, but when you say 'run AVG and let it fix everything this time' what does that entail - do i just delete everything from the quarantine? Please give me instructions of what exact process to follow after the avg scan; just want to make sure i'm doing everything right.

Also, I don't recognise any of the IP addresses but then again I wouldnt! Although I can tell you that i set up a static IP address in order to forward a port for an application. Think that was done a couple of months ago.

Thanks again.

Can anyone answer the above post?

Should i be running AVG in safe mode and what do i do to 'let it fix everything.'
Have already ran the scan and have items in quarantine - do i just get rid of them? What log do i post then?

I know its probably simple but i dont want to mess it up.

Thanks

Ok, I've deleted LadbrokesMPP and ran HJT and fixed the above as instructed.

I'd like more instructions on AVG though if possible - If i run in normal mode it takes upwards of 40mins to complete the scan and i just get a BSOD before it has time to finish.

If I run it in safe mode, when i open AVG it fills the whole screen but cuts off the borders so i can't see all the options, and i can't move it or minimise it, in fact the only way i can exit it is by Ctrl+Alt+Del and End Program. It does however complete a full scan successfully. Any advice would be great.

Anyways, here's my latest HJT log:

Hey NNN,

Calmness M8, calmness, breathe.

OK, your log showed that AVG didn't quarantine anything, so if you have everything in quarantine, I would delete it.

When you run AVG in Safe Mode, and it takes up the whole screen, have you tried moving around using the arrow keys? If that doesn't work, make your option settings in normal mode and run the scan in Safe Mode, the settings should hold.

Also, I would download SpySweeper from my signature, and make sure that all options under Custom Sweep in the Sweep tab of Options were selected, then run a full sweep in Safe Mode as well. Once agan, keep the log of this scan to post back here.

Looking forward to your reply,
