Default [Resolved] Slow typing in all programs, mouse 'jerks'

Hi, I'm having problems in my browser and programs. When I start typing my browser blinks and stops the typing. When it comes back the text is highlighted and further typing replaces it. I can only get a few characters before it happens. If I'm careful I can double click at the end of the text, type a few more characters and get it to work but it's pretty horrible. It also happens in other programs like word, but it's not as bad. My mouse pointer pauses and jumps around too. I have a hijak this file and ran avg in safe mode. Thanks for the help.

also, when I open a drop down menu like File, Edit, View, etc. the menu only stays open for 1-3 seconds. If I can make a selection in that time it works but if not you have to start over. This happens in all programs including the start button. Please help!

Hi Eric,

You have several infections that could be causing your troubles. please download Housecall, SpySweeper, Shoot the Messenger, Spybot S&D, and Adaware from my signature.

Run Housecall. Let it fix everything that it finds.

Uninstall Imesh and SpySubtract:
Follow these removal instruction to remove iMesh from your computer( Before proceeding, you should move any documents in iMesh folder that you wish to keep):
  1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel, and double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  2. Scroll down the list till you find the iMesh entry. Then click Remove or Change/Remove. Follow the on screen instruction to finish the uninstallation automatically.
  3. Open the Program Files directory and delete the iMesh folder along with all the files within it.
  4. Return to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and locate iMesh ads support.
  5. Select iMesh ads support and click Change/Remove .
Also please remove SpySubtract from Add/Remove Programs, it has known adware installed, and is very inneffective. I'd like you to use Spybot S&D and Adaware in it's place. Allow one or the other to run monitoring, and the other for regular scans.

Once you have finished, please follow the instructions for running SpySweeper that are listed in PreWork in my signature, making sure that all available options are checked under Custom Sweep.

Do not forget to save the logs from both SpySweeper and Housecall, and post them back here along with a new HJT log.

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

LGW

Thanks for the info I'm working on it(almost done), but I am unable to uninstall imesh. It gives me an error "Could not open INSTALL.LOG file". I also tried to uninstall imesh bar and it gives me the following error "Error loading C:\program......\imesh bar\bar\i.bin\imeshbar.dll".
