Default [Resolved] Nasty Ad-ware Possibly from Morpheous

Ok so I downloaded that stupid P2P program a while back and was able to get rid of all the junk it gave me... except for these things.

While Im searching and click on a link to go to a website, sometimes the website will transfer to netster.com

And while Im searching around I'll randomly get these third party pop-ups. They are all similiar in how they pop up but each time it's a different website. I do think it's comeing from one source file though. Here are some examples of what pops up

simplesamplesearch.com
search.ebay.com
didosearch.com
portlandipod.com
martinottis.citysearch.com
findstuff.com

Pleeeeease help me they are so annoying

Hi Lacey

Welcome to PC Help Forums

I'm really glad your trying to get rid of that slimey trash and it's hard to do so I know.
Follow the advice given in the PCHF Prework link in my signature below.
Post a HJT Log back here when done in Attachment form and I will then move it to the HJT Logs section where an expert in HJT logs can analyse it.

1. Download this file - combofix.exe
2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply, along with a new HijackThis log.

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.

Please download VundoFix.exe
to your desktop.
  • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
  • Click the Scan for Vundo button.
  • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
  • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
  • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
  • When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
  • Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above
instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button." when
VundoFix appears at reboot.
