Default [Resolved] Am I still infected?

Hello,

I recently have done virus scans on multiple anti-virus and anti-spyware programs. AVG Anti-Spyware and AVG Free Edition have worked well, as I first got some Adware and then Backdoors and something else of which I forget the name.

The thing is, my computer is still going really slow! I don't have a super fast computer (Windows 2000, 2.8GHz, usually max 160kb/s), but I'm only getting 10kb/s!! This is definitely not right. I have closed out all programs to interfere with this problem. So, am I still infected? Is there maybe a hidden virus I don't know about?

Thanks in advance, as I need some help quick.

Attached below is my HijackThis logfile.

Hello.

Nothing much is showing on your HijackThis log, can you run a new scan with AVG Anti-spyware and post the generated log into your next reply.

Meanwhile, here's a tip that I saw on the web. Try it, and if it does not help, reset it back:
Go to Start > Control Panel > Classic View and double-click Network and Internet connections. Next click Network Connections and right click your connection. Select properties. Under General tab make sure that the device listed is your correct modem. Click configure and make sure the Enable modem compression box is "unchecked". Click ok to save changes. Click ok to exit.

Hello chiawaikian,

Thank you for your support. Just recently I had a video problem. When I got my computer, I had a disk labeled Gigabyte. I installed Marvell Yukon Gigabit Ethernet Controller, which is what I see when I go into properties (like you said). Ever since then my speed HAS been going slower. . Could this possibly make a difference?

Other than that, I am doing a scan right now. I will edit my post soon with my log.

~Spectre.

EDIT: Nothing to show in my AVG scan. Just cookies.

Hello upgrader764,

I am not sure. Is there a way to check for that?
