I dont think it is anything bad but you can never be sure, can you run a Hijackthis log off and paste into your next reply also, a security analyst will then check both logs.

P.S. If you PM me with your log i will put it into your first post.

Moved to Hijackthis Logs forum.

Hello Wolfdue.

There are other recent reports of the same problem. These are legitimate keys. This is because the new version of 1.71 now scans the HKLM\Security security hive. There is no cause for alarm.

However, if you would like to post a HijackThis log for us to review, that would be great as well.

Thanks, both of you. Here's my HijackThis log:

The **** ***** is where McAfee blocked my name from being sent to this site.

Edit: Please only attach HJT and Spyware logs. Thanks,

Hey Wolfdue,

I don' belive I've had the pleasure. Hope you are enjoying your time at PCHF.

Your HJT log looks clean. However, you should disable Windows Messenger, as it leaves you vulnerable to PopUp attacks. Just download Shoot the Messenger from my signature, and run the program, it automates a couple of settings which disables this unnecessary utility.

Were you having any other problems?

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

LGW

Thanks, ladygreenwitch. I downloaded the program and it worked fine. I don't have any other problems.

Thanks again,
Wolfdue387
