Default [Resolved] Help, Random Downloading (it's me again)

Well hello there again, i havent been here for a while (looking after my pc) but i have now encountered a new problem.

My interent seems to be constantly downloading something in the background.

watching howmuch the modem is flashing it going berserk. It's taking up my bandwidth and i cant play and internet games online.

It only happend today.

Pavfires.exe is going up and down like a yoy taking up all my CPU usage. (this is the exe fire for panda antivirus.

Is there a way to se what it is dowmloading ? ? ?

the only thing i have install recently is Channel 4 On Demand (downloading channel 4 programs) but i paused them.

I was also looking for a patch for a mate at the time that a really noticed, as i could only get around 40kbps compared to the normal tiscali standard of 80ish.

Also the HDD light on the front of my case is constantly flat out on. which isnt normal.

HELP PLEASE.

(I Tryied using counter spy but my free trial has run out, how do i deleate the registery files so i can reinstall it)

(i need a new AntiVirus too, otherwise this wouldnt of happened) panda's out of date stupid thing

The only other things i can think of is my mate sent me some tunes over msn. I could have picked up a virus of her pc. :S

please help cos the sound of a little tiny clicking isnt normaly annoying but when it contantly on flat out, the sound of a hard dirve is really annoying.

Hey HardLock!

I have a feeling there is definitely some malware on your pc, can you follow the PCHF Prework link in my signature and then post back here a Hijackthis Log and an AVG Antispyware report.

A security analyst will then check it over for you.

Moved to Hijackthis logs forum
