Yeah, you cannot read the saved registry on it's own, only from within Regedit. I just want to make sure that there was an i386 folder listed in your C:\ when you did the search, correct?

OK, Great! Reopen Regedit, and navigate to this one other locaton;

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Window NT/Current Version

Locate SourcePath here as well and change it to C:/

Before I changed SourcePath, it read 'D:/i386'

Just so I am not missing the obvious, is D your CD/DVD drive or your main drive? Most of the time C is the main drive, but I did neglect to ask earlier.

The default setting for this utility is to search for replacements from the CD, on the CD/DVD drive, thus D. By changing it to C we are telling it that we want it to search for replacements from the HardDrive.

You said that you were able to locate an i386 folder on your C drive, can you access/open it?

C is the main drive.
I'm attaching a word doc that shows a print screen of the search findings of i386 on the c drive. I can open the folders and see the content files.
I apologize for the frustration.
