Hello.

I must ask that you do not put your logs in code boxes, as it makes things harder for us to diagnose.

Please run HijackThis and place a checkmark by the following entries:
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {35F7813A-AF74-4474-B1DC-7EE6FB6C43C6} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\jrwtjnqs.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {46A4E9D9-B30E-452A-8157-DBBEC8573B03} - C:\Program Files\VSAdd-in\VSAdd-in.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {E49B620D-6D91-4BCF-808E-A2E4BD514E83} - C:\WINDOWS\Cursors\odcsmvc.dll (file missing)
O3 - Toolbar: &VSAdd-in - {74DD705D-6834-439C-A735-A6DBE2677452} - C:\Program Files\VSAdd-in\VSAdd-in.dll (file missing)
O15 - Trusted Zone: http://locator.cdn.imageservr.com
O20 - Winlogon Notify: odcsmvc - C:\WINDOWS\Cursors\odcsmvc.dll (file missing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: winwea32 - winwea32.dll (file missing)
Close all other windows except HijackThis and press "Fix Checked". Then close HijackThis and restart the computer.

Clear your Recycle Bin. Now Download ATF Cleaner
  • Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
  • Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
  • Click the Empty Selected button.
If you use Firefox browser, do this also:
  • Click Firefox at the top and choose Select All from the list.
  • Click the Empty Selected button.
  • NOTE : If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
If you use Opera browser, do this also:
  • Click Opera at the top and choose Select All from the list.
  • Click the Empty Selected button.
  • NOTE : If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

Restart the computer again. Rescan with both HijackThis and AVG-AS and post the new logs in your next reply (without the code boxes). Thanks!

Report-Scan-20070106-021135.txt

hijackthis.log

Here are the AVG and Hijackthis logs in that order.

Thank you very much for all your help. I've read my previous threads and noticed I haven't thanked anyone for their help before. I know I can be an *ss at times so bear with me. Again, sorry about the code wrapped logs.

Yes it's clean, although I noticed AVG was scanning C:\RECYCLER at one point for some reason.

EDIT: And found a couple of viruses in that folder (or is that viri?)

Has Norton been uninstalled from your PC? I see a few <file missing> entries regarding Norton.

Right click on your recycle bin. Do you see an “Empty Norton Protected Files” option. If yes, click it and follow through the prompts.

About the point on viruses or virii, here's a good read:
Plural of virus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
