If you are still doubting the legitimacy of the numerous svchost.exe running, you can open Command Prompt and type in tasklist /svc. Type the results out here, or simply post a screenshot.

Default screenshot of processes

This is the screenshot of my processes, i typed in tasklist /svc into the command box and it didn't recognise it, i also tried lots of other mixes. Also i have noticed more things on the taskbar.guard.exe is beginijng to use more cpu, I heard it was a virus.

guard.exe is a process from AVG Anti-spyware.

Go to Start > Run and type cmd.exe. Press OK. Command Prompt will open. Type tasklist /svc into the command prompt box. Type all the entries relating to svchost.exe, or you can post a screenshot. (Hope I'm clearer now)
