Hi Killa,
First of all, as I have been gone for a number of months, I would like to extend my welcome to the forum to you.
You're right, this post was deleted, but I think that the Mod who did it was following the posted rules requiring a certain decorum while posting here at PCHF. We try to be as positive with each other as possible, there is enough negativity and nastiness on other forums to serve the world until the next millennium, and that's not how we do things here.
However, if you have encountered someone on the forums, either on the staff or not, giving out incorrect information, it is certainly acceptable, in a positive, supportive way, to call their attention to the error. However, I think you will find that communicating in regular English will garner you better communication than street and webspeak. You will be taken more seriously.
A number of your points are absolutely correct, no one should ever use two Anti Virus programs at the same time, it is however acceptable to have two or more installed on the computer for scans, as long as they are not active at the same time.
I also think that using a good registry cleaner is an excellent way to keep a handle on installations, and just general bloat that occurs with Windows. We try to make sure that the registry cleaners we recommend are either free or very reasonable, and extremely reliable, as a bad one can cause irreparable harm. I tend to recommend RegSupremePro from Mace Craft, you might want to give it a try, it has proved to be the most efficient I have ever used.
You seem to be a knowledgeable computer user, and are welcome to express your opinions within these forums, just please keep in mind both the PCHF rules, and the above guidelines I mentioned when posting in the future. Looking forward to hearing your other thoughts.
