Arrow [Resolved] HELP Plz!!! Add/Remove Programs

I was having problems with using a HP Scanjet 4370 and HP Officejet All-In-One 4215 both installed. The Image Zone & Solution Center are not working properly - so I contacted HP and they advised me to uninstall both products and start over with the information they provided me.

Well, when I went into my "Add/Remove Programs" - something really weird went on - I have lots of things listed in there that were never there before and also, it no longer gives the Change / Remove Option.

Can someone please explain to me what happened and how to correct it????

I could not Copy/Paste, so I will type what's listed:

BufferChm
Copy
CP_AtenaShokuninlConfig
CP_CalendarTemplates1
CP_Package_Basic1
CP_Panorama1Config
Creative Projects
CueTour

Spy Sweeper

VPRINTOL
WD FAT32 Formatter
WebFlds XP

WindowsXP SoftwareUpdates
Wireless

How do you find out what some of these listed items are? Is there a web-site or somewhere to look them up?

I went through Start, Programs, & there was an Uninstall option on the HP Office-All-In 4215 so I used that. Did that remove everything that needed to deleted (registry, etc.)??

I also have a Kodak Z730 installed.

And, I recently installed an external hard drive.

I noticed that Microsoft has a scanner too. I have no idea what version of Microsoft I am using - in Windows Explorer - there are like 3 different versions listed.

I thank you in advance for any assistance/answers you can give me.

Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Kate,

I'm not 100% sure of what each of those pieces of software is for...but i just did a quick google search on a couple of entries...and apparantly they're spyware.

Can you please follow the Prework steps in my signiture and post the resulting logs back here?

We recommend AVG because it is free, and our prework steps locate every nasty thing in your computer.

It's pretty much the most effective way to scan your computer - takes a bit of time, but it's worth it.

Just a quick question do you recommend only using 1 antispywhere program or do you use a few differnet ones to get what the other spywhere programs have missed? I have used ms antispywhere and AVG and Spysweeper and Spybot and they all seem to find different things not one of the programs seem to get all of the spywhere
