Default [Resolved] Help - ActiveX + Myspace

Hi

Recently when accessing myspace pages it prompts me saying "click to run ActiveX on this webpage" i click ok and then i get an internet explorer error msg and the closes down IE.

I've tried just click on the 'x' on the pop up box for activeX still doesnt work. Also tried a system restore.

Cheers

In the yellow bar that asks you to install the activex it normally has a name enclosed in quotation marks.

That looks more like a javascript set to run an activeX even if you clicked the X. It is likely a form of spyware just asking permission to install itself on your computer. Sometimes their is no way around this except to choose Control+Alt+Delete and close it from in there.
Useing Firefox rather than IE often prevents these sorts of things from happening. Plus MySpace is buggy anyway.
