Hi,

My computer is really slow. My friend recommended me to this site and said it helped him greatly. He said you'll get me to download Hijack then send you the txt file so I can be told what to delete. Where do i get this from and how do I use it? Thank you for your time.

Can you follow the link in my sig 'PCHF Prework' and then post an Hijackthis log and an avg spyware report and the security team will take a look for you.

Followed the instructions on the link you gave me. Very clear and easy to follow. I have attached the requested reports. I have 8meg broadband but my interent seems to be quite slow. Can you help?

Please run HijackThis and place a checkmark by the following entry:
O23 - Service: .NETSecurity - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\netsecurity.exe (file missing)
Close all other windows except HijackThis and press "Fix Checked". Then close HijackThis. Reboot.

Open AVG Anti-spyware and delete all the files in qurantined. Then I need you to rescan and post the new logs (HijackThis and AVG) in your next reply.

I haven't had any real problems with my system, my internet just seemed to be slow for 8 meg when compared to when I first got it. But following the steps outlined got rid of alot of malware and other stuff so it helped alot anyway. Thank you for all your help.
